If you are going to the work of re doing the battery cable set up I highly suggest you go to eyelets on each end of the cables and utilize a battery with a stainless steel 3/8" nc threaded post. You will no longer have corroded connections because there is no lead for the acid that leeks to react with and you don't have to fight an end that wont tighten up or wont fit right. The construction and over the road guys figured this out years ago, I don't know how come farm equipment is 20 years behind the times but this is your chance to change that. Jon
