Subject: Carrying 2 bales on 3/4 ton pickup

Eastern Kansas

Due to the recommendation of this forum, I found a used Dewesse bed in good shape and really like it. Wondering how many of you carry two bales on a 3/4 ton pickup? They weigh about 1500lbs. each and it squats my 97 chevy to the stops on the axles. I'm carrying them about 6 miles on gravel road and just go slow, no bouncing in the pastures.

Has this ever created a problem for anyone?
