Subject: Re: LARGEST CORN GROWING STATE??

I'm pretty sure Iowa produces the most bushels of corn and plants the most acres of corn.
Most of Iowa doesn't normally start planting corn until April 10-20 so we still have plenty of time for the frost to go out and the ground dry up.
What we really need is a nice slow soaking rain to take the frost out.

Here is a website that has a chart on the right side of the page that gives the 2006 corn production (both bushels and acres) by state.
