I would say yes. Yes because 30" beans tend to set pods lower, thereby increasing the chance to cut pods open during harvest. Another factor would be more airflow between the row increasing the likelihood of the beans being dryer and more shatter prone.

But you would have less chance of white mold and less trampling and possibly a need to use less chemicals if cultivating. Less equipment cost. Probably save on seed as well.
