north central Oklahoma | OK, on that note then I have a marketing question. If all these end users have the chance in the next, say 6 months to lock in some more profitable prices via, hedges around $3.50, and let's just assume for the sake of argument that all farmers wait until $5.50 or higher to pull the trigger on their corn, who eats the $2.00 plus difference. I admit there are many aspects of the market I do not fullly understand (appreciate) but as my accouantant wife would say, it's all gotta "tie-in" somewhere on the books. My Saturday morning quandary, now it's back to helping the boss clean up and get ready for Easter dinner tomorrow. | |
