Subject: Using Bin run RR beans

Central, IL
Because bean seed is short this year and the weather has got me thinking, can you plant "saved" seed to replant ponds? I have never saved any seed before nor do I really plan on doing this. If the tech fee has already been paid for on those acres from the first round of planting would Monsanto care? Or if you couldn't find any seed to replant "ponds" can Monsanto tell a farmer who owns his ground he must leave those spots bare because they dont have any seed? Would this hold up in court? There is probably something about this in my tech agrement that I signed but I was just wondering what other opinions were. Could you imagine the whole midwest having to replant from frost or wet weather with no seed in the system?
