southeastern ohio | Sounds like you are running out of fuel. On top of the pump there is a 1/8" pipe plug, install a press gauge there. While it is running you should have 100 psi, watch it for a couple minutes until it starts to act up and see what the gauge says. It could be the pump going bad, or might be as simple as the pump coupler(plastic or rubber connector between pump and motor, if they are wore, they will get warm and start to slip)
