Subject: Hot water washer question

Northern Indiana
I have an old Dayton steam cleaner I have converted to a hot water washer. It has a burner like a fuel-oil furnis (sp) would have. Wayne is the brand on the burner.

The burner lights, and stays fired, but after a while, say two or three minuets, it begins to smoke and the flame goes out.

I dont have much experience with oil fired equipment. Sediment bowel is clean before the transfer pump and nozzle "screen" is clean. I replaced the electrodes and set them to specs.

Any help is appreciated.
