Subject: RE: Advantages/disadvantages of a frame type end dump

Princeton, Indiana
A frame trailer keeps the rear trailer axle stationary while dumping. A frameless trailer gets "shorter" as it goes up and the trailer axle has to move forward or the tractor has to move rearward as the hoist goes up. This gives the frame type trailer an advantage if you plan to dump into an auger, small pit or other small target.
