Subject: RE: How much air...flushing 2" fill hose?

I worked at a fertilizer plant that had an automated loading system. It was all 3 inch plumbing and was purged by air. They only used 20 pounds of pressure and it would boil the heck out of a 1600 gal tender. One time a tender driver shut the valve at the truck off before the air was done and when he unhooked the hose the 3 inch heavy duty rubber fertilizer hose with a stainless cam lock danced in the air like a garden hose. That was a scary 10 seconds to watch. Sorry to ramble just made me think of it.
