South cental Ohio | Yes it's that time. We finnally have to replace our old JD1219 and I need to know what make to consider. I've priced a Deere 630 and Deere 946. I don't need a 13foot mower but I can get steel rolls in it and it's a center pivot and it's only $6,ooo more than the630 9foot side pull. Are steel rolls what a guy needs if he wants to tear the heck out of hay so it will dry quicker? Will steel rolls still work if the crop isn't as heavy as it should be? To sum it up, what's you guys opinion as to what the best all arround mower/conditioner is? Thanks a ton for your replys. | |
