Aberdeen MS
30 some years ago when I was hauling grain, took a load to Pillsbury River dump.... other side of the river from the stockyards. Pit conveyor went directly to the barge. Looked below and an enddump was dumping into the same conveyor. When I asked what he was dumping....answer I got was drilling spirals (from a fab place), the spirals that come off a good sharp drill bit drilling steel. I was kind of taken back, dumping steel into the grain barge.

Guy told me it was no big deal, Japan bought it with 2% FM, so they were shipping them 2% FM and the steel allowed the grain to only have to go over a magnet to clean up for good grain.
