Sunnyvale, CA
Trimble cable 62749 is a right angle version of 52033 and fits much better on the EZ-Guide 500. The cable 52033 was originally made for the EZ-Guide Plus which has the 9-pin connector facing downwards, while the EZ-Guide 500 has the 9-pin connector is facing out of the back side (horizontal) and 62749 accomodates this difference in orientation of the connector.

If you don't need any of the other functions on the 9-pin connector, like having a remote keypad or NMEA output along with the coverage logging input, you can make your own cable. Connect pins numbered 4 and 5 together on the 9-pin connector with a relay for enabling coverage logging. You will have to enable the coverage logging function in a configuration menu.
