Subject: Swepco grease any good?

I've heard good things from a couple of people about it but want to hear more before buying a whole case of the stuff ($$$).  One fellow I know uses it on his boat and said he rarely has to grease anymore because it doesn't take any grease before the bearings pop and they're full.  Another guy swore by it when he mowed grass and did the maintenance at a few golf courses.  Said grass was worse than salt water for eating bearings and the Swepco cut bearing replacements waaay down.  Sounds like two ringing endorsements for me, but I was wondering if anybody used this stuff on a farm and if it was worth the bucks compared to other cheaper synthetics.  The salesman was by quite a while ago but it seems to me the stuff was something like $15/tube and I had to buy a whole case of 20 or 25 tubes.
