Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot
Straw sure seems to vary depending on where your at. I've been buying rice straw delivered here for around $23/bale and that includes the 200+ mile freight. Truckload (48 bale) at a time.

Wheat, Oat and Barley straw was around $25-$30 bale loaded in the field this fall, has gone up some IF you can find any that is worth having.

Those are all for 3x4x8' big bales, they weigh at best 1000lbs. I loaded some wheat straw out yesterday that had been outside all winter and those bales with the water in them still only weighed about 800lbs. Soft and hard to handle but still worth good money down south for bedding in dairy country I guess.

I've also got a stack of barley straw here in small 3 tie bales. It is worth around $3 bale. Around 75lbs/bale.
