Subject: RE: Big bales vs small bales straw

Orange County NY
I had 2 loads delivered last fall. First load was small squares of real nice oat straw. It came from the Finger Lakes area. $210/ton, 24ton load.

The second load was large squares(wheat). About half the load was 3x3`s with other half 3x4`s. $178/ton just over 24 ton. This load came out of Ontario.

The first load was hauled by a guy who buys it and trucks it himself. The second load was a farmer who trucks his own straw. Don`t really now what the freight cost me.
