| This is my first post to AT. I’ve monitored AT for the past three years and I am impressed with the numerous posters knowledge about the variety of topics affecting production agriculture.
I chose as my screen name: Forgottonian. That name was chosen to represent 14 western Illinois counties that sought their share of the Federal largess for infrastructure funds. Forgottonia is the geography of my youth and early farm experience. Later my farm experience was extended to East Central Illinois with seed corn.
I just retired from the Department of Agriculture’s Risk Management Agency’s Kansas City office. I had the pleasure to work on many of the Federal and private sector risk management programs used by farmers today. I plan to continue my product development activities in retirement and welcome any suggestions others might have as development candidates. I do have a couple of active projects and looking for assistance during the concept phase.
