There are always bad areas in any crop year. You just hope you are not the guy with them. I still say they (USDA) is low on HRW planted acreage. I also believe the areas that have a stand, even late planted fields, are in excellent condition (moisture), and will and is coming out of dormancy in ideal conditions. Just going to take some more moisture at the right time down the road. We are in eastern KS, and the wheat here is on pace to be are best crop ever. Thanks.
