NE CO | Growers in my area are suspicious that many of our weeds have developed enough resistance to the SU herbicides that it may not be worthwhile to apply them anymore in wheat. I left the Ally or Amber out of my 24D+Dicamba mix on some fields last year and didn't see any difference in weed control. On the other hand, at $1-2/acre, it's hard to justify leaving them out if they help at all. But I do plan on doing a few more tests without SUs this spring. | |
