Avail is designed for the annual application of phosphate which favors row crops.
It is not inexpensive. I am not sure it is less costly than using additional the phosphate. I believe it's place in Central Texas is for the individual farming rented ground.
Avail sounds like it was tailor made for our calcareous soils, with at least 10% free lime.
