South Central Kansas | I have a 955 CIH, 8 row with the high pop sensors and the seed flow II monitor. I had a 6 row 800 before this one and they both work well in no-till. I have planted corn, milo, cotton, soybeans and sunflowers in all types of conditions and never failed to get a good stand. We drop our corn at about 20-21K and it does a good job of spacing and a near perfect job of population management.
The guys in corn country want the newer planters with finger pickup or disc meters, but this one has worked great for me. it will plant anything you put in the hupper. Sweet corn is the most difficult to set.
E-mail me if you like.
