Subject: Going generic glyphosate?

I was a little slow looking to lock in the chemicals ... so touchdown would cost me 46.24 for a 56 oz burn down in pasture, and then a 32 oz second pass. Then the $11.00 for the two applications.

Farm and Home says I can buy 30 gallons generic 41% for $760 or so. No guarantee, but I am not sure what they guarantee anyways. So maybe $26/gal instead of $60/gallon. How can that be?

Any reason not to go generic? Any reason it would be hard to get them to use my product? It sure looks like to me I save just over a grand on my little 45 acres, as long as I don't spray before a rain storm. What am I missing?

And I will probably add valor at $9/acre ... I guess.
