Subject: Wheat Following Corn

Pasco WA.
I have been considering planting wheat after corn this fall so that I can plant alfalfa next summer. I seem to recall hearing about the posibility of disease. What is the risk? This is under pivot irrigation with high yields. The corn will be in the 270 bu area and 12' tall. Gonna take lots of tillage. Target for the wheat is 130+ bu.
