Hi Curt,

Looks to me that your biggest problem is you are waiting too long to spray if that is your pre-spray hay patch.

Time your pivot watering so that you can catch it just right. :) :)

I've used Pursuit+2,4-DB together with excellent results. Neither 2,4-DB or Pursuit work very good alone. If I have any grass pressure, I'll add Select with crop oil, but spray early am so the 2,4-DB doesn't burn the hay too bad......but the burn will go away.

I've tried Raptor, but was unimpressed with the grass control, it worked about as good as Pursuit, but more money. I've settled on the Pursuit/DB combo, but neither one works very well alone. Key being not to let the weeds get too big.

I agree Treflan is poor.
