The overdrive percentage is 2-4 % ideal, with up to 5% allowed. The idea behind the overdrive on the front axle is to account for the front tires wearing faster than the rear, so after awhile the overdrive on the front slowly decreases and in theory should eventually become 0% with worn tires.
