I waited too long and the acres were all taken. Prices were in the $213-$225 area. Typically on processing crops here (sweet corn & peas) the seed and 1/2 the insecticide is deducted from the payment. No harvest or hauling charges. Grower is responsible for the remaining costs. Bypass is usually 80%. Only one processor makes the growers contribute to the bypass fund.
