East Central Arkansas		I think that this is a assist wheel off of some type of JD planter. The Wheel swivels but it will not turn all the way around for backing. I thought this thing had a cylinder with it instead of the turn buckle. I don't know how it was mounted or worked on the planter. I also have this fixed where I can unbolt it if I want to turn the blade around. I will probably leave this on this blade because the blade is really to light to do much pushing.
I really wanted to put this wheel on a larger JD blade that swivels at the hitch but I didnt want to have to be removing the gauge wheel every time I neeeded to push something.
