My trailer carries 5 1500 gal vert or less with mixing area. To redeck I found the least expensive reasonable quality 2x6. Attatched them with self drilling, self tapping decking screws. Do not suck them down into the boards. Stop just as they are even with the top. Fill around screws with silicone. Spaced the 2x's just wide enough so that chem lids will not fall through. Deck dries very quickly and is not slick. Oh yes. Most boards have domed side. Have that as the top.

Treat the lumber with as many coats of good old boiled linseed oil as is needed to saturate the board. Retreat as required. Looks sharp.
