Geez! I just piled up an '03 Yukon XL 4x4 5.3L flex, nicely equipped. Ins. totaled it out, we settled at $17,800. That rig had 77K on it, could touch 20 mpg if babied but usually 17-18 on the highway. The "new" one is an '07 Yukon XL 4x2 19K, nicely equipped but non-flex. I have picked up approximately 2 mpg with this one. You can get a deal on a 4x2 ifyou can see the mountains from the lot :-) Stangely, it seems to ride a bit rougher than the 4x4, probably the tires.
