Ontario | I have a Hardi 5500 controller. It works fine. I wanted to tie it in with a GPS guidance system and found out that the controller is designed for European systems only. I could not find any hardware/softeware that could tie into the 5500. I believe that this year Agleader could replace the 5500 with their Insight. This might be worth looking at if you want to have as applied mapping or logging. I believe Hardi is also working to update the "look ahead" software in the 5500. We found that we sprayed with that option turned off. It needs to have a minimum flow parimeter built in like the Raven & Midtech contrlloers so that you do not lose your spray pattern when slowing down or starting out from a dead stop. | |
