Dalton, OH | I am currently using Farmworks for all of my field recordkeeping. I'm looking at going to the Ag Leader's Insight for planting and harvesting. I noticed in the Insight you can keep track of things you are doing by field such as hours worked by a person, tractor, variety of seed planted in the field. Will this import into Farm Works similar to what TracMate does now? Just curious, if it doesn't it would be nice as I wouldn't have to enter things twice, once in the Insight and once in TracMate. I realize that you can upload prescription maps from Farm Works to the Insight and download yield data the other direction. What's everybody's thoughts on this?
I'm looking hard at the Insight initially as yield mapping on my JD9670 combine instead of the greenstar system, but eventually using it on my planter and sprayer.
