In reply to feeding DDGs to your goats. My relatives have goats and they have quit feeding them. They told me they have had two goats go blind from it. Something about Thymine deffiency. I don't recall exactly wether it was some other mineral tying it up or it was just too low. I know they do not go cheap on the feed or minerals for their goats. I will try to ask and post later as to exactly what is the cause for this. Likewise, I have fed it to my sheep with no problems. Although here it is getting pretty pricey too. I have shifted my feed to less DDGs and more soyhulls and soybean meal.
