Just to make sure I understand this correctly, there are two options for controlling liquid fertilizer application.
1. Buy the harness to attach to a Raven controller that has the serial port.
2. Buy the rate controller feature and control the application right from the GS 2 display.
Is there an advantage to either way. The raven we have does not have the serial port on it, so we will have to retrofit the raven to include the serial, or buy the rate controller.
Does anybody have any experience with the Rawson Hydraulic drives?
I plan on making variable rate maps from the new Apex software.
That is a good point, we plan on getting the combine setup with with yield mapping this summer.
Thanks for all the replies.
