If you would like to do controlled traffic, you will probably need more than the lowest-cost, lowest-accuracy lightbar unit. The best investment is something that can grow with you without needing to replace the whole system when you outgrow the cheapest unit on the market. Take a serious look at something the EZ-Guide 500, which can start with WAAS DGPS and as your accuracy requirements increase you can upgrade the receiver to a higher level of accuracy with an unlock code and new antenna. With all of the low cost units (around $1000) you will have to start over when you eventually outgrow it. The EZ-Guide 500 can operate with the EZ-Steer 500 which is a low cost autosteering system that is easily moved between vehicles. check out the on-line description at www.EZ-Guide.com

you can also look for a used EZ-Guide Plus on ebay. THe EZ-Guide Plus is a lower cost than the EZ-Guide 500. the EZ-Guide Plus can run the EZ-Steer and doesn't have the internal upgrade capability to higher accuracy.
