Subject: Fecue and fences

Barton Co. Missouri

Son-in-law has rented some pasture that hasn't been grazed for a few years. Has lots of old growth on
the fescue. Several small trees need cut off. Do we do a controled burn on the grass then cut trees or
just let the cows claen up the grass then cut the small trees down.

Question 2 Theres a large creek through the edge of the property, we are planning to fence off so
cows can't get into the creek. There is program that will help build some of the fence either elec.
( High Tensel) or a 3 wire barb. Have a 5 yr agreement. Which is the best to do? Owner has agreed to
help on what ever we decide. Son-in-law has 2 yrs no rent for cleaning up.
