Do both, or make a loose hay grab attachement. We put a "Cat's claw" grapple by Westendorf on Dad's loader, and it increased the capacity, we put a 16" extension on the bucket with a 12" side extension and it about doubled the capacity with the grapple. That was in corn silate.
