Subject: Handling Loose Hay with a loader

I have gone to chopping all my hay and straw in a pile and then mixing it or dumping it in a feed trailer. The problem is I'm still using a standard 66" bucket which doesn't hold a lot of volume of loose hay. Would I be better off adding a grapple to the front of the loader to close down over the load or making extensions out of 3/16" steel to enlarge the volume of my loader?

Eddie
