Lasalocid is the chemical name for Bovatec. I would guess your "Lanolinic" is actually Linolenic acid which is just a type of fatty acid that would supply energy. I can't really speak to the overdose concerns, but Bovatec is one of the safer ionophores. Rumensin(monensin) is the one that jumps out as being easily overdosed.
