“These are the times that try men's souls.” | Ben or Badger, I got a question about insurance on hay you've sold. Still sitting in your yard. At these high prices I wonder if insurance companies would give a guy grief about paying a claim in the advent of a fire or other loss? The most high risk time is after baling, but I've seen lightning catch a few stacks on fire before fall. Do you tarp or store in sheds? Or does the hay buyer insure it at your place, at the time of purchase?
