Mounting the antenna on the back makes it act as a long steering sensor. In some cases I've seen an additional 100 plus inches added to the actual WB to take the wiggle out of the steering. I haven'yt used it on a pivot application, mostly broadacre cuttinmg crops and hay. Worked well at 8- 10 mph.
