Pasco WA. | I spent two cutting last summer with the rep trying to make an EZ Steer 500 work on my new HW 365. This was on pivots at 9-12 mph. We finally gave up. Never could get it to stay on line as accurately as manually driving. Worked pretty well up to 7-8 mph though. Omnistar XP was quite a bit better than WAAS. I bought an Omnistar XP system for the tractor and I may try it on the swather in 1st cutting next year. In my opinion autosteer on a rotary swather on pivots is still quite a ways away. | |
