Subject: Is their a such thing as too much protien??

East Central, Nebraska
As for the alfalfa i kind of have a bunch of it on hand and it is probably more cost effective (which might seem dumb) to just feed the alfalfa then go spend $60 or $70 on grass hay. I wouldnt say this is dairy hay also i might add. It is average first or second cutting alfalfa. The second thing is that i have been feeding a 30% crystalyx tub with it along with a free range mineral and salt block.

As for them bawling, haven't seen that happen yet. Nothing is getting out and they don't chase me when i pull in. When i drive buy usually 5 to 10 , at any given time, of them have their head in the air chewing on a corn cob with a stock hanging from their mouths.
