I use 2 JD ATU systems. They are a little more work to set but once you go through it once just write down the settings and is pretty easy. Very easy to switch from one machine to the other. Use it on 7130 case, 854 RoGator, 85D and 65 Cat, R-72 Gleaner combine. We use SF2 for planting and have been very happy with the accuracy, I would think if you can plant with it you could striptill with it also, especially if you were to use a guide cone or trench on the strip till bar that would line up with the planter tires..I have seen guys do that with no autosteer and it works good. SF1 is used for everything else, the deere system allows you to purchase SF2 signal for different time spans, 1 yr, 3 month etc. We pay for the signal to plant then let it expire and use the unit on SF1 for the summer and fall work.
