Central To Everything and Close to Nothing | Is there any reason you wouldn't look at a JD 2600? Or do you have the Insight already? The reason I ask is that feature for feature you will get the same out of the GS2 plus your tractor is all wired and ready to go with out having to install additional components like a NAV2 controller, complete wiring harness, and GPS receiver. You could get into a GS2, AutoTrac SF1 and SF1 Reciever for under $11,000. By comparison, to get that same tractor converted to Ag Leader/Trimble, you are looking at over $14000 if you don't have the Insight already. In addition, your 8330 is approved for iTEC headland management when it is released this winter for which will only run on the GS2. Finally, the GS2 is an ISO Virtual Terminal, something that I believe the Insight is not. Not trying to make a sales pitch here, just making sure you consider all of your options. |
