Subject: RE: Question about Trimble Autopilot

I put NH3 on with RTK ez steer and a 500 lightbar last fall. Purchased a used 1998 JD 8400 FWD this winter, and had Trimble autopilot and an Insight in to record varieties, later plan to move INsight to combine for yield monitor.

I've got to determine why, in spite of dealer calibrating Insight Autopilot why I am much happier with way ezsteer performed last fall. It made numerous small wheel corrections and stayed on line very well. Insight autopilot is doing much more S curving as it tries to stay on line. It reminds me of a WAAS setup instead of RTK right now. I'm trying to change aggressiveness number, with slower being a little better so far. This is at 4-6 mile an hour. Is calibration needing redone, or any other operator options I can try. I have temporarily downgraded my steering till I can get this figured out. 5.0 insight version and I'm not sure of autopilot version or antennae version. Thanks.
