If like in Minnesota, the Twp ditch is the right away, but is owned to center of road by property owner. If someone, besides the property owner wants to use the ditch, the use must be approved by the Twp board. If someone wanted to run manure hose on the ditch - depending on lenght of time and unforseen damage, it wouldn't bother me. If it sat there and killed the grass or leaked liquid - I would be too happy, as the ditch right away is part of my lawn. Permission first . . . .
