Husker, are you inferring that you don't have aphids because the climate is drier? I was pheasant hunting in s.w. Kansas last winter which is a very dry climate and they had them bad in their wheat. Scout and as soon as you see a few spray. To scout for aphids successfully in wheat you have to come out of the field with dirty elbows and knees because you have to get your nose to the ground to find them.
