Subject: Seed Corn - stacked hybrids

NW Ohio

Talked with someone about 3-way stacked corn hybrids vs 2-way stacked.  They said one is better off planting double stacked without the RW gene and treating with insecticide for better yields.  Said triple stacked corn has less root mass and does poorer in a drought situation.

Anyone heard this?  What did you see with yields this year between these traits?

Thanks
