Subject: Re: Notill beans

Don't know if the chopper head would be any worse than our IH with knife rolls. We run the head fast and low to the ground to help cut the stalks down, usually leaves a stump less than 10" tall.

We notill 20" beans into 30" stalks and have never had a problem with the ground not getting dry enough to plant. If it is dry enough that you would think about working the field it was dry enough yesterday to notill.
