Matt,

Don't know much about the DK numbers. What kind of maturity was the 60-19 and the 48=53. I planted 110 day just north of ya from July 18-22. I'll prolly be in black layer in less than a week here I think. Although mine was technically not double crop, it was planted the same as a double crop (actually a little late) for this area. I'm headed to our Monday morning breakfast with soem church elders, or I would post some pics of mine, but I haven't taken any new ones for a week to 10 days so they would be old pics. Nephew called the other day and said ears (husks) are turning yellow. If you can get past your two weeks needed for black layer, I think we could use a killing frost or we will be picking on green stalks, as it looks like the grain (weather permitting) might dry down before the stalks
